My name is Dave Briggs, and welcome to www.davestravelpages.com , my travelogue site. I am an Adventure Cyclist from England, and my latest trip is to cycle from Alaska to Argentina. I started in July 2009, and estimate that it will take 18 months, so please drop by again to check on my progress !

Cycling from Alaska to Argentina Travelogue

On the 15th of July 2009, I begin my cycling expedition from Alaska to Argentina. The route will roughly follow the Pan American Highway, which is an unofficial connection of major roads on the west coast of the Americas. I won't be following this route exclusively, as I intend to make detours to see archeological sites, do volunteer work, and have a pint of Guinness in Belize!

Just got back from the town outside Flores. Needed a tuk-tuk ride as was loaded down with groceries. Day off going to plan so far :)
