Cycling with the trailer

Cycling from Alaska to Argentina Travelogue - The build up to the trip

I took the bike and trailer around the reservoir for a couple of laps on Saturday. I didn't have much weight in there as it was more a test to get used to riding the bike with the trailer attached.

AAll went well, ... the trailer tracks the bike nicely, and on the flat, i barely notice that its there. I could feel it a little more going uphill, but nothing too bad.

As i went out on Saturday night down the Wellie Road for my brothers birthday, today has been a bit of a write off. However, as I am now fully recoveed and rested, I'll be up early tomorrow to take a slghtly more loaded trailer back around the reservoir.

Also tomorrow, i need to..

1. Register with US embassy that i am travelling to the states.

2. Order some bike spares.

3. Put my remaining things to sell on ebay.

4. Use some of the contacts i have in Alaska, Canada and America to get more information about certain things i still have to organise (like getting both me and the bike to the artic circle from Fairbanks)
