I was up early today, and even though it was rainy and windy, I was out on the bike and trailer by 07.30. All the gear performed well, although the rain wasn't that bad. What I have noticed with the trailer, is that because it is low to the ground, the waterproof sack either ends up very dusty, or very muddy.

Two laps was enough, as I had to go into town today. In town, I got three hundred US dollars, a fuel bottle and fuel for my stove, a wind-up headlamp for camping, a bike lock and a watch from a Next voucher i found left over from Christmas.
