Well, this is my last day in England before the trip begins! Just a brief summary of what I have been up to over the past couple of weeks - Met up with a few friends at the Windmill for drinks on one Friday night, visited both sets of grandparents, gone out with a few guys from work into the spiritual heartland of Northampton which is Chicago's, said farewell to Emma, ripped unneeded pages out of Lonely Planet books, reserved extra luggage space on both my flights, confirmed with my warm showers hosts when i arrive in Fairbanks, and packed my bike, trailer and gear ready for the flight as you can see in the picture below. My brother picks me up at 04.00 Wednesday morning, and that is when the trip official begins. I'll probably do a couple of updates from airports, as I have a lot of waiting to do at both Heathrow and Frankfurt.
