Front panniers

Equipment for Alaska to Argentina Cycling Trip - Equipment

As well as my trailer, I'll be using a pair of Ortlieb Front Roller Classic panniers. I used to have Vaude rear panniers, but despite looking for some front ones, I didn't find any that I was happy with. I settled for the Orlieb panniers, and they are well designed and field tested by thousands of cyclists before me, so I don't expect any problems from them.

- A year into the trip, and the front panniers are holding up fine. There are a couple of holes in the corners where they have scraped along the floor, but that was more to do with my own carelessness than any manufacturing fault. That said, reinforced corners might not be a bad idea guys at Ortleib !
