Mobile Office

When i started my trip of cycling from Alaska to Argentina, the idea of a mobile office was just an abstract concept. I knew that I wanted to work as I travelled, but the reality was, I did not really know how to go about it. I had dreams (and still do) of my websites becoming just busy enough to provide me with an income, with limited input from myself, thus maximising the time I could spend either cycling or doing other activities.
Things so far have not quite turned out that way though. Whilst the websites are thankfully profitable, they do not provide anywhere near enough per day for me to live on as I travel. Then, I came across something else, and that was writing freelance.
Using Freelancer.com, I secured several jobs, and many of those carried on way beyond the original project length. In fact, at some points I was so busy, that I hired a freelancer of my own from the Philippines to help split the workload!
This was perfect in terms of creating an income, but it did get me thinking more and more about the subject of a mobile office. I had come away with a computer and various other items, but after working for eight or more hours a day on them, the limitations soon became obvious.
So, this section with its various articles leading off is both a combination of what constitutes my current mobile office, and what I would choose to have if I should be able to re-equip myself.
So, What exactly constitutes a mobile office?
1. A computer
2. Portable Storage Devices
3. Digital Camera
4. Mobile Phone
Each of those subjects above will be hyperlinked to a new page, with an explanation which will go more in depth into the subject of a mobile office.
