The Warm Showers Community is a worldwide hospitality exchange for touring cyclists. People who are willing to host touring cyclists sign up and provide their contact information, as well as cyclists embarking on tours. The beauty of this site, is that not only do you get to stay with a local of the country you are visiting, but also as they are cycling enthusiasts, they can point you in the direction of good bicycle shops, tracks etc.

I've used this network a few times now through North America, and I have to say, that each experience has been great, and has added a new dimension to my bicycle tour.
