Using the Three EuroPass – Review Part 2
I used the Three Europass which provides unlimited internet access via my mobile phone during my last trip. I have already written another blog post about it, and that was “pre-bill” . I have to admit to being slightly worried that the bill would be enormous, as some small print might have got me. As it turns out though, I need not have worried.
When the bill for the month came through, everything was as it ought to be. The Three Europass had been charged correctly at five pounds a time, and there were no nasty hidden extras. This was a great relief, and just reinforces what a good deal it was.
So, for anyone travelling to Europe, I can recommend the Three Europass. It allows unlimited internet access, so watching YouTube and stuff from the BBC is all possible. Sending and receiving email, updating twitter and facebook with photos and text is also all included.
As it turns out, I spent a fair bit on text messages, and so in future, I would probably try and make sure I had a messaging app such as the Whatsapp installed in order to make those sms messages free. In terms of being able to work and travel, the Three Europass does offer some interesting possibilities in terms of being able to do freelance writing work on the road. At five pounds a day, it is great value, but of course, will soon add up if taken out every day.
