With February the 14th rapidly approaching, you may be thinking of how you can treat your Valentine. Have you ever considered a spa break for two? Thermae Sylla Spa and Wellness Hotel in Edipsos, Greece is a perfect choice. Treat your Valentine and yourself to a weekend away, and enjoy all the facilities and comforts of a five star spa resort.
I was invited to stay at the Thermae Sylla Spa and Hotel in January 2016, and thoroughly enjoyed my weekend there. You can read a previous review about my experiences here – Thermae Sylla Spa and Wellness Hotel Review. Although I am counting that as an early Valentine's treat for the Mrs (OK, maybe I will have to get something else as well), here's why I think you should consider treating your Valentine to a weekend break.
Reasons Why You Should Treat Your Valentine at Thermae Sylla Spa Hotel
Relax and Unwind – Bathe together in an indoor spa pool filled with natural, thermal waters. Take my word for it, you can't help but relax and unwind, as the waters are so soothing!
Choice of Treatments – Treat your Valentine to a range of beauty and health therapies during your stay at Thermae Sylla Spa and Wellness Hotel. I didn't try them myself (I am beautiful enough), but your better half will love the therapies on offer. Massages, aromatherapy, mud baths – the list is endless!
Five Star Facilities – The Thermae Sylla Spa and Wellness Hotel knows how to treat you well! Their five star facilities include an excellent restaurant, luxurious rooms, and elegant bar and coffee areas. More importantly to me though, all the staff are incredibly friendly, helpful, and polite. The service there is second to none.

For overseas visitors to Greece, it has never been more affordable to fly to Athens. Ryanair, Easyjet, and Aegean all offer cheap-as-chips flights from countless European destinations into Athens. Some prices from London to Athens go for less than £20! Once in Athens, you could then hire a car to take the drive to Edipsos. Another alternative, is to take a bus. KTEL operate from Terminal B, at Lission St, Athens . There are between 4 and 6 buses a day, and the cost one way including the ferry trip comes to approximately 20 Euros. The time by car and bus to the resort is about the same at just over three hours.
