Best way to travel from Andros to Syros in Greece

Syros island in Greece

Syros island is a beautiful place to visit, with plenty of stunning beaches and interesting historical sites. The capital city, Ermoupoli, is a great place to explore, with its neoclassical architecture and lively atmosphere.

There are also plenty of restaurants and bars in the city, as well as a few nightclubs, making it the perfect place to enjoy a night out.

As Syros is the capital of the Cyclades, there are year round ferry connections with Andros.

Andros Syros ferry Route

The only way to go to from Andros to Syros is to take a ferry. During the high season there is one regular ferry per week (usually Thursday) crossing from Andros to Syros.

Blue Star Ferries have run this conventional ferry to Syros from Andros in recent seasons, and the travel time is about 3 hours. Expect passenger ticket prices to start from around 7 Euros.

Other ferry companies may add direct ferries from Andros to Syros according to seasonal demand. SeaJets would be the most likely ferry company to add a connection. It would be a more expensive ferry ticket though.
