We lost a trip due to Covid, but were delighted to find that much of the cost was refunded. Also delighted to find that the little hotel I stayed in during a 6th form trip in 1962 is still operating - and even modernized! The lift works now.... Hotel Cecil , very handy for the sites and the metro. Recommended!
The pronunciation remark above is quite heartfelt - having studied and taught Classics, and taken a number of school trips to Greece, I find it appalling that we don't use modern pronunciation! Ah well - being now 80 it's a bit late to start a campaign. Thanks for your newsletters - always enjoyable! All the best - Frank
