Paros Anafi Ferry Crossings

If you want to visit Anafi directly after spending time in Paros, you'll only find 2 or 3 crossings per week during the summer months.

These ferries to Anafi from Paros are operated by Blue Star Ferries and SeaJets.

Due to the distance between the two islands, you shouldn't expect the travel time to be very quick!

The travel duration ranges between 5 and 8 hours from when the boat leaves the port of Paros. While you can buy snacks and drinks onboard, you might want to bring some of your own.

You can find the latest ferry ticket prices for the Paros – Anafi route here: Ferryhopper.

Paros Anafi on Blue Star Ferries

The best choice of ferry is the Blue Star Ferries offering which sails twice a week.

This is a large, comfortable ferry that also takes vehicles, so if you are Greek island hopping with a car, it's a good choice.

Typically sailing on a Thursday and a Sunday between Paros and Anafi, the crossing takes just slightly less the 5 hours.

Check this and other ferry routes at Ferryhopper.

SeaJets Ferries from Paros to Anafi

SeaJets vessels are only sporadically scheduled on this route, and departure times vary.

Although it's one of the high speed ferries, the travel times are longer due to it stopping at other islands on the way.

This is the slowest ferry sailing to Anafi from Paros island, taking around 8 hours and 55 minutes to reach its destination.

Anafi Island Travel Tips

A few travel tips that might help you plan an itinerary when visiting Anafi island after Paros:

  • Ferries leave from the main port, Parikia in Paros. Aim to be at the Paros ferry port about an hour before you are due to board to allow for traffic on the island.

  • Ferries arrive at the main port of Anafi at Agios Nikolaos.

When you are on vacation, one of the most important things to consider is where you are going to stay. You want a place that is comfortable, affordable, and in a good location. The best areas to stay in Anafi are Roukounas, and Chora.

Our top choice for hotels in Anafi are:

  • Boreas Stone House
  • Apollon Village Hotel
  • Maki House
  • Panselinos
  • Traditional Renovated House in the Centre of Anafi
  • Golden Beach Resort Anafi
  • YPSELI Anafi's hive

If you are traveling to Anafi in the busiest months for travel, I advise reserving rooms to rent in Anafi a month or so in advance.

  • Make sure to check out these beaches in Anafi: Monastiri, Flamourou, Katsouni, Klisidi, and Roukounas.
